Biography

Jack completed his Bachelor of Applied Biology (Plant Product Innovation) in 2019. During his final year he had the opportunity to complete a research placement with Dr. Philip Brewer where he investigated the influence of Strigolactone signalling on root architecture. After continuing this work as a casual research assistant, he is now completing his Honours investigating the role of Strigolactone signalling in optimising seed development. Following Honours, Jack aims to pursue a career focussing on improving the relationship between fundamental and applied research to maximise future agricultural improvement.
